Overview

This is a collection of love poems, all born in the heart of one who was dead to love for a long time. But it’s a love that is deeper and stronger than that of a mere superficial, physical love. It is a love that grows between true friends and is given to a special friend in gratitude For Being With You Today. Thirty-plus years later, my one and only wife found this to be a true representation of love and decided it should be republished. It is with gratitude that she has found it so and I am happy to make it available for others.

About the Author

The Author has been writing poetry and short stories since the 1960s. His poetry has covered the topics of faith and love and, briefly, war. He self-published a book of poetry in 1976 and had a few pieces were published in poetry anthologies. His short stories are science fiction stories with some featuring themes of faith in Jesus Christ. Two articles have been published by the Advent Christian Church General Conference; one for a Christmas issue of their magazine and one for a course at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois (The Small Church In America). www.johnbarrenger.com
