I had an interview with the coach of my college's football team called the Panthers a few days ago. He welcomed me to the team. We discussed a number of things during the hour I was with him. Things looked very promising and I was looking forward to meeting my future teammates and getting some practicing done as the start of the football season was only two months away.
The coach told me that I should meet with the team's Captain, Brian, in the near future. I called and made an appointment at the Quarterback's convenience. He suggested we meet for drinks at one of the local bars not far from campus. The bar was noted for not being very strict in checking IDs. Which was good for me. While Brian was over 21, I was only 19.
