POWERFUL ANIMAL SAGAS WITH GOOD ENDINGS!!!

Here is the new Book that I would love you to add to your bookcase. The cover says it all. Michael St. John, Publisher of "Floyd the Dog", a Portuguese Book Club, has accepted so many of my stories that it only makes sense to honor him in this way. There's something in these tales for everyone. You can take this book along on any trips or flights you go on. Easy fun reading that takes you where the action is.

The following excerpt is taken from my book "Floyd the Dog Story Book Commemorative"

From our story: "The Lone Dragonfly"

"Enter Mr. Dragonfly! As he flew in and out among the insects he was gulping them down by the hundreds. Within minutes every one of the pests had been eaten. Put together one amazing dragonfly, hundreds of black flies, and the old fox's problems were a thing of the past, and the stuff that legends were made of.

Remembering these old stories took our young fox's mind off his stomach momentarily..."

One year ago Easter 2012, Mr. St. John decided to fly to Syracuse, N.Y., where I live, and we met for lunch. I ordered chicken and biscuits for the two of us and he loved it. He'd never had this dish before, so I figured he may come back again to visit me; if only for that same meal. :-)

Don is a storyteller from the age of 13. At no time did he put down his pen down. He has sold numerous short stories across the U.S. and now in Europe, with connections in 62 other countries, which includes Portugal and Cyprus.

Over the past seven years he has been compiling many of his short stories into book format, and has recently had a few published. http://tinyurl.com/l4al233

Don was recently asked if he would like to be considered his town's Poet Laurette, to which he replied, "I'm your man!"

This writer is constantly taking on writer promotions and challenges to help sharpen his over all skills as a writer. He has taught a few Writing for Publication Classes at area schools and has sold numerous poems to individuals and magazines across the U. S. over the past several years.

A father approached him once about writing a poem for him that included his three young girls, a garden and flowers.

He delivered the poem the very next day - matted and framed to the person's surprise and delight. It now hangs on his office wall where he works. Best investment he ever made. But I cherish my children too!

THREE FLOWERS IN MY GARDEN BLOOMEDBy Don Ford

And in a Father's garden, Three gentle flowers grow. Their petals open wide: Their faces we behold.

"My children," cries their Father. "Stay safe within my garden wall. May only gentle breezes blow; My hope for you: Grow strong and tall.

And through the years stay close to me. You'll always feel your Father's heart. It ever reaches out to you, Even if someday we part.

Remember this: your garden home, In case you ever move away. Your Father's never far from you; In my heart three petals stay."

Author NotesThis was originally a request by a dad who loved his garden and his three girls. So I penned this for him.
