About the Author

Gwendolyn Cahill was born in New York City. She is a novelist, poet, playwright, and supporter of social justice. Her career includes employment in social services, real state, retail, and health care. She is a resident of Virginia. Cahill graduated from the University of Hartford. As a graduate student at the College of New Rochelle, Gwen was a regularly featured writer for the student newspaper. When she is not writing she crochets. She has sung in several gospel choirs in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia. She is a member of the NAACP. She is a charter member of Lambda Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
