Paradise E Rodriguez-Bordeaux (born August 17, 1996) is a French-American (born) fashion model, actress, activist, keynote speaker and author. Her work can usually be found online and within luxury magazines throughout America, Europe, and New Zealand. She has walked for various fashion designers, including Jeff Garner and Quynh Paris. She is perhaps best known for her activism work with displaced children. Rodriguez-Bordeaux takes her inspiration from her early childhood and a more iconic role models like, "Creole Goddess", Josephine Baker, who worked with what was in front of them, refusing to give up on their passions and sought out to make a positive mark on the world. Paradise's work has a sophistication that sets them apart from a typical performer's lifestyle. With Paradise Rodriguez. Inc and Catch A Falling Star, Paradise combines a determined, forceful aesthetic with a humble philosophy, never compromising her ethical principles or her style credentials. She was born in the States but did not live a traditional childhood. Growing up without parents, she eventually began her search for her family in France, Spain, Puerto Rico, and Ireland. She eventually connected with relatives and is living between Paris and Manhattan, NYC. In 2014, Paradise suffered from a traumatic brain injury causing her to lose (5) five years of memories. While the memories never returned, she has been doing well in her fight against Ovarian Cancer. She then, she has won various awards for her outreach work including the 2018 Woman of Strength award and has since debuted Her first book, "Finding Paradise."

This journey shows how we sometimes find ourselves through the collective experiences of joy, sadness, love, and pain. The inspiration to find to inspiration to find one's self and then be true to that person is powerful, and much needed for so many. This book embodies the phrase " we cannot start over, but we can begin now and make a new ending". A must read who needs the motivation.

I loved this young womans journey in her search to find answers, not only to her ancestry but also to help guide her future as she strives to help others. I could see her as she strides through the cities of Europe, loving the culture from an American view, yet with the knowledge that her ancestors could have walked the same streets.
Through good and bad our heroine gets through to find answers, but also more questions that could probably fill another book.
I look forward to seeing her next one.

Riveting - the first book I have picked up and read for probably 20 years. Mills, Boon and Wilbur Smith all rolled into one! The story was easy to follow yet wasn't predictable which made it hard to put down but 3 nights of reading instead of watching television made it possible.

I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and as I have travelled to all the same places as the main protagonist (Anais) i could relate to her experiences and visualize each destination.
