Overview

As a young teenager in the 1960's Bridie London develops the life
threatening Meningeal Tuberculosis.
On Medical advice and because of risk to her siblings and his greengrocery business, her father Desmond London delivers her to a mental asylum offering the isolation she needs.

About the Author

Alan Baulch is a multiple genre Author as demonstrated by his latest novel ‘Finding Bridie’ and previous works ‘Mind Trap’ and ‘The Tracer’ together with his first volume of short stories entitled ‘Love, Life and Fantasies & Poetry’.
A British, London born retired former Businessman, IT professional and Foster Carer. At an early age heavily influenced by Dennis Wheatley, Aldous Huxley and further by the French writer Guy de Maupassant. Modern day favourites include Dick Francis, Patricia Cornwall and John Grisham particularly in style. He belongs to a Prose & Poetry group with the U3A (University of the Third Age) where he collaborates with other like-minded authors and writes both short stories and poetry.
He is currently writing the sequel to Mind Trap and lives with Janet his partner of 40 years in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.
