About the Author

Karen Rolcik received her law degree from Indiana University. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and Ohio, and is a certified mediator in Texas. She has practiced law since 1986, primarily in the areas of wills, trusts, probate, family, and corporate law. Ms. Rolcik has written or coauthored several legal self-help titles. She currently resides in Bedford, Texas.

Edward A. Haman received his bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University and his law degree from the University of Toledo. He has practiced law in Florida, Michigan, and Hawaii, and has served as a Michigan Circuit Court domestic relations hearing officer. He has written or coauthored numerous self-help law books, ranging from titles that are national in scope as well as state-specific subjects.
