Overview

If only weight loss was as simple as "calories in, calories out." All you'd have to do is cut back on your calories and/or increase your workouts and the weight would melt off.

We all know it isn't that easy.

There are hundreds of other factors that go into your current weight. Some are obvious, like the types of food you eat. Some are less obvious like chemicals you are exposed to every day. Others you cannot change, like things that happened to you in the womb and in your childhood years.

But education is the start of the battle for achieving optimal weight.

I have been publishing posts related to achieving and maintaining weight loss and for many years. This book is a compilation of blog posts done over the years in an organized format with some additional commentary to help make the information clearer.

Many of the topics discussed in this book may be new to you and may never have been brought up by your personal physician. Unfortunately, there is a veritable chasm between the medical research and what doctors seem to share with their patients. I have provided links in the resource section, if you want to do more research for yourself or are looking for products that will help you on your journey to better health.

It is my hope that the concepts and ideas given in this book are going to help your understanding of your condition as well as help in improving your health and maintaining a high level of functioning as you age. There are many tools that can positively impact your health and longevity.
