Fig Leaf Potholder Crochet Pattern

Overview

Make this fig leaf potholder for tropical kitchens or just to remind you of the tropics in the middle of winter. It's made with bright green size 3 crochet cotton. Two fig leaves are made and then crocheted together to make the potholder thick enough to protect hands and surfaces.

Crochet hook size E/4 (3.5mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Yarn needle
FINISHED SIZE: 7” (18 cm) x 8” (20 cm)
GAUGE: 13 sc = 2”, 12 rows sc = 2”
STITCHES USED: Chain stitch (ch), Slip stitch (sl st), Single crochet (sc), Single crochet 2 stitches together (sc2tog).
