Rand Leeb-du Toit’s sudden cardiac death in 2014 was the trigger for his transformation and heightened understanding, which the former Fortune 500 advisor, lawyer and venture capitalist applies, as the Founder of EXOscalr, to advising, coaching and guiding his clients to reinvent themselves. His sense is that many people crave a better journey than the one they are on. They are lost and alone, even though they’re surrounded by other people. He set up EXOscalr to be of more service to people who can literally change the world and he guides them to perform at the highest levels. Rand’s near-death experience altered his perception of time completely. He no longer feels the same sense of urgency to be busy and tracking against a linear, progressive timeline. His overarching goal is to bring about a greater self-awareness and a stronger sense of compassion. He believes that being more compassionate with others and ourselves creates deeper connections and stronger leaders; it also acts as a forcing function for solving many of the big issues in our world.
