(Synopsis)
Computerization of the society and global data processing led to the emergence of quite new types of crime and the cohorts of young, new fledged, well educated, smart, but ill-minded guys. The modern criminals make their cyber-attacks on somebody else's money, while being at a totally safe distance and using the networks of financial companies’ computer systems.
Alex Koretsky is a cyber cop, a security officer whose job is to combat the crimes in the field of Information Technology. He is investigating a case of cyber snooping for the confidential information, committed by the unknown intruders using the recent forecasts of the stock market behavior. How to reduce the number of the suspects and, eventually, catch a real computer outlaw?
In the course of the case investigation, inspector Koretsky is assisted by a well-known hacker Max and a charming Russian girl - Christina Serova detained by the American system of justice.
