About the Author

Cynthia Weitz is a writer whose work has appeared in the Orange Herring newsletter for Sisters in Crime Orange County, Mused-The Bella online literary review, The Cynic Online, and publications of Saddleback College: The Wall Literary Journal and Reflections. A veteran of the publishing industry, she worked in marketing research for a New York advertising agency, McCall's magazine, Condé Nast Publications, and The Los Angeles Times. Her writings have been enriched by her travels throughout the world.




A native New Englander, she attended The University of Vermont and graduated from Simmons College in Boston with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. She also earned a certificate in interior design from UCLA extension.



Cynthia was a docent at the Laguna Art Museum for 19 years and led tours for the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts.


She is currently writing a collection of stories, as well as the second Feisty Old Ladies mystery. The author lives in South Orange County, California, not far from the ocean.
