Overview

Fear of the Lord can mean many things, from great respect and awe to fright or even terror. There are special blessings and favor for those who fear the Lord. Blessings are God's favor and protection. Favor is the evidence that the Lord is pleased or delighted with a person and his approval benefits them. Fear does a lot of things for the believer who walks in the true, authentic, heartfelt holy fear of the Lord. It honors God so that he releases his manifold blessings to the believer. Scripture reveals that many blessings and benefits come from fostering an attitude of holy fear of the Lord!

About the Author

Laura Henry Harris is a speaker and teacher of kingdom theology. She is the founder of Where He Leads Me, Inc., a ministry that supports pastors and ministries, and engages in teaching, evangelism, deliverance, and healing. She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law and was an attorney for 20 years before leaving law to serve the Lord. Laura received a Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary. She is currently enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Florida. She has published eight books, with more coming soon. Laura is married to Michael Harris, an evangelist, entrepreneur, and attorney. They have three children, Alayna (Tyler), Anna (Ryan), and Adam.
