About the Author

John M. Feierabend is the author of The Crabfish, Frog in the Meadow, My Aunt Came Back, Ride Away on Your Horses, Round and Round the Garden, and There Was a Man and He Was Mad. He is a professor of music education at the Hartt School of the University of Hartford in Connecticut. Erik Plude is an illustrator whose work has been recognized in numerous competitions, including the Connecticut Art Directors' Annual Awards Show and the Yale New Haven Paint & Clay Club competition. They both live in Hartford, Connecticut.
