Eric Geron has written over a dozen books for children, such as the #3 New York Times best seller Disney’s Descendants: The Novelization, which he wrote under pseudonym (and anagram) Rico Green. He was born and raised in Summit, New Jersey, and earned a creative writing degree from the University of Miami. Based in South London, Dean Gray completed a BA (hons) in Graphic Design at Leeds Art University before working as a creative designer for an illustration agency. He now works as a freelance illustrator bringing life to children's books for publishing clients such as Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Hachette, Quarto, and Macmillan. He has a character-driven approach to his work, is passionate about storytelling and loves creating characters or new worlds that someone can have an emotional connection with. Dean takes a lot of inspiration from watching films, animation, browsing book shops, and travel.

Dean Gray was born in Roehampton and currently based in South London. Dean studied Graphic Design, which makes that conceptual thinking plays a huge part in his idea process. He takes a lot of inspiration from watching films, animations, browsing the Internet, collecting vinyl toys, kawaii culture and science fiction. He has a character-driven approach to his work and is passionate about storytelling. Creating a character that someone can have an emotional connection with is what Dean finds most exciting.
