About the Author

Simon is widely known as a Certified Sobriety Coach and is the founder of Be Sober,
one of the largest quit drinking support groups in the world.

But his relationship with anxiety began when he was a teenager,
and gradually worsened to a point where he was experiencing panic attacks and avoiding certain situations where he feared being overwhelmed. His dependence on alcohol resulted from his constant quest for relief from his racing thoughts,
constant worrying and negative feelings.

Of course,
the temporary escape provided by alcohol wasn't a sensible solution and his daily drinking developed into a secondary problem alongside his anxiety disorder. Eventually he began to look closer at his life and started to educate himself about the best methods of eliminating anxiety and finding lasting happiness. This took him on a life changing journey of discovery and personal growth where he learned and developed some of the most powerful tools and techniques to stop anxiety in its tracks. With persistence and commitment he managed to break free from the tight hold that anxiety had over him and his hope is that after reading this book you will do the same.

He has sourced many of the questions and answers from his personal experience of living with and overcoming severe anxiety,
along with the insights of members of his community and feedback from readers of his previous books. You can discover more about his journey by visiting his website at www.simonchapple.com
