Overview

The fantastic animals is a children's series, that seeks to reimagine the way children's books are done. The series is written as if each book were an episode in a kids tv show. There's adventures, obstacles and a lesson at the end of each story. Each book can be read as an individual story, but when read together they start to form a simple, yet connected narrative. For example, the first 5 books are about how the group of friends known as "the fantastic animals" come to meet one another. The reason this book series is written this way is to get children back into reading. Kids love how their favorite shows feature the same characters, feel familiar and give a sense of adventure. What if a book could give them that same feeling? This is the first story in a series of many. The next story "No Mermaids Allowed" will continue where this story left off and introduce two new characters.
