Author Joanne Michaels, formerly an editor at St. Martin's Press and editor-in-chief of Hudson Valley Magazine, is a journalist and author of several books including THE HUDSON VALLEY AND CATSKILL MOUNTAINS: ONLY THE BEST PLACES, LET'S TAKE THE KIDS, HUDSON RIVER VALLEY FARMS, HUDSON RIVER JOURNEY, HUDSON RIVER TOWNS, THE JOY OF DIVORCE and LIVING CONTRADICTIONS: THE WOMEN OF THE BABY BOOM COME OF AGE. Her byline has appeared in several national publications. She lives in Woodstock, New York where she is president of JMB, a publisher and distributor of regional books.
Mary Barile is an award-winning playwright, with readings and productions from The Kennedy Center to off-Broadway. She is the author of 14 books about antiques, history and the paranormal and has a PhD in theater history. A native of New York State, before moving to Missouri, Mary lived in Arkville (Delaware County, NY) for several years. She is currently a professor of theater history at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
