About the Author

Thomas Henry Kelly Jr. was born on May 15th 1927 in Mobile, Alabama. He is now 89 years of age and writing his 23 book of essays. He and his wife of 64 years, Helen live in Spanish Fort Alabama. Tom and Helen have one daughter, Laura and twin grand children. He is a Navy veteran 1944-1946 aerial gunner, a U.S. Army veteran 1951-1952 Korean Campaign-artillery officer, Battalion commander. Tom was the timberland manager for Scott Paper Company from 1953-1993 when they forced him to retire. Tom has a timber consulting business and is President of Tom Kelly Inc. a small book publisher formed to market and sell his books.
