Ezra:Help For the Restoration of the Temple
"Ezra: Help For the Restoration of the Temple," is a commentary on the book of Ezra. The name Ezra means help. This book is about how God helped the Jewish people restore the Temple in Jerusalem. It parallels the restoration of the temple to our restoration, as the temple of the Holy Spirit. The church, as the Jewish people did, has gone astray from some of the basics that ensure the blessings of the Father. Because of this, we find ourselves in place of realization that our lives are not all we hoped they would be. "Ezra: Help" is written as a 21 day devotional that focuses on a different topic each day. Each topic is supported with Old and New Testament Scripture that makes that part of history very understandable and applicable to daily living. Leslie has included, personal stories that capture your heart and reveal how to apply the steps to your own life. This may very well be the first commentary you read from beginning to end. It is not a dry theological treatise. God's people have allowed things of the world to capture their hearts and take God's rightful place as Number One in their lives. We have been held captive for long enough. It is time to rebuild our lives based upon God's plan, not our own. It is not nor has it ever been God's plan or desire for us to live a life without satisfaction. He designed each one of us for a specific purpose and plan. In order to be fulfilled we need to get ourselves properly lined up with His plan so we can be all that He designed us to be.
