Overview

Frank set out for the Montana gold fields in 1863. He was more than a gold seeker. He had a mission that was convoluted when a man saved his life during a wagon train massacre on the Bozeman Trail. The lust for gold and Frank's real purpose for coming West made Frank and his savior uneasy partners. Frank was torn between friendship with the taciturn stranger and his commitment to his mission. Frank's life was further entangled when he won a half-breed Blackfoot girl in a poker game. His adventures take him from Hellgate through the boom towns of Virginia City, Bannack and Last Chance Gulch.
