Eyes Down
Seventy-two hours. Twenty-three strangers. Trapped. Could you survive?
A virus that turns its hosts into rage-fuelled savages is threatening the country so when a group of shoppers are locked inside a bingo hall in an attempt to escape the imminent attack of the infected, they think they will be safe. Nothing can get in but no one can get out either.
Freezers full of food, a stocked bar and shutters concealing the exits promise a safe place to wait out the attack. But the group quickly realise that there are dangers inside their sanctuary.
An impulsive drug addict suffering from withdrawal turns violent, putting everyone on edge.
A toddler showing signs of infection becomes the main focus of a manipulative psychopath hell-bent on surviving a ‘zombie apocalypse’.
With no contact with the outside world, the group is vulnerable and helpless and they begin to question their methods of survival.
Could you do whatever it takes to survive? When fear itself is the enemy, how long can you keep your humanity?

About the Author

Victoria Dimmock began writing her debut novel at a holiday park in Cornwall in 2009. She was inspired by numerous years spent working in a bingo hall surrounded by an assortment of interesting characters which fuelled her over-active imagination and her love of an apocalyptic scenario.
She lives in a small village in Bedfordshire with her husband, Charlie, and their three daughters, True, Faith and Anna.
