Who is Rob Black? Let me tell you.

I was born to an Italian father who owned several adult bookstores throughout Western New York. My mother worked in the family business as a cashier. When my mother was pregnant with me, she was arrested by the local police on obscenity charges.

Years later, I became an internationally notorious director of pornography who was also arrested on obscenity charges, but this time it was the Federal Government. After a seven year battle that reached the Supreme Court, and with all of my funds depleted fighting the charges, I was forced to plead guilty and spent a year in La Tuna Federal Prison in Anthony, Texas. My then wife was also incarcerated 3000 miles away in Waseca FCI for Women in Minnesota.

Upon release from prison, I resumed my career in porn with limited success. After my period of probation was over, I launched an internet radio and streaming broadcast called The Rob Black Show. It is a show, that for five hours, I open my heart, mind and reveal all I that have gone through in my turbulent life. I also expose many things in the porn world that many in it have not wanted to discuss publicly.

Much of this journey has been chronicled on a popular long running adult blog known as AdultFYI.com. This book is a collection of some of my best rants, stories and commentary on subjects like pop culture, politics and the people I have encountered along the way in the adult industry and in the world.

I want to thank all of the people who have been with me on this journey, from Tom Byron to Katie Summers. The people who were with us in the beginning, Nikki Charm, Gene Ross and my late friend Tony Biner. These are the people who have made the show what is is today. And we're not done.

Most importantly, I want to thank the fans of The Rob Black Show. The fans who love me and the fans who hate me. Without you I wouldn't be here.
