About the Author

Crystal Wood was raised in Las Vegas by a mother who was hired in the first wave of female blackjack dealers on the Strip. Wood has herself worked in public relations for a wide variety of hospitality and entertainment venues and organizations. She is the co-author of Explorer's Guide Las Vegas: A Great Destination and the author of Backroads & Byways of Oregon.
Leah Koepp, a photography production assistant and freelance writer, was born and raised in Las Vegas. Her family’s history in the city goes back almost 50 years.
