That's how Gabby Whitaker views her friendship with DeeDee McAllister. Best friends since sixth grade, headstrong and courageous DeeDee has been the one to map out their lives. But after twenty childless years with her husband, DeeDee changes the plan. She wants a baby-now. But her body hasn't gotten the memo. Gabby is willing to do anything to help DeeDee fulfill her dream. Anything. So the two set off on a quest to convince her husband-and her body-to cooperate.
