About the Author

Everett B. Cole was a science fiction author and a professional soldier. He worked as a signal maintenance and property officer at Fort Douglas, Utah. He published "Philosophical Corps" in the magazine Astounding in 1951 to begin his career and soon became a staple of sci-fi pulp in the golden age of the genre.
