The Editor, a Fulbright scholar and Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University,New York, is a senior academic with a number of publications to his credit. His earlier works on urban government and politics, political development, population and education are of seminal importance. A former Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, he is currently the Director of Gandhian Institute of Studies, Varanasi.
