Nishad Roy tried to escape from his mob lineage and his dad, the leader of a crime syndicate in Calcutta, India. For most of his adult life, he had lived in the United States, but when he came back to India to perform his dad's last rites, his past finally caught up to him. What unfurled in front of his eyes was a very politically incorrect version of Indian history and against his better judgment, he was thrown into a 'Dan Brown'-like journey across India following clues from the mob, which might lead him to millions of dollars of mob money ensconced in a Swiss bank account. During this journey, he meets the woman of his dreams as people starts dropping dead around him under the most unusual of circumstances and he is forced to re-examine his relationship with his dad. Finally, true to its genre, the story ends with a high-octane shootout in beautiful Goa and the 'proverbial happy ending.'
