Overview

Box Set includes Eric Otis Simmons' best-selling Memoir and its companion manuscript (#HTSP - How to Self-Publish) in which he shares how he successfully self-published his autobiography.

Not Far From The Tree

Inspired by "seeds of knowledge" implanted in him by his Mother, a single African American Parent, Eric Otis Simmons went on to accomplish some amazing things in life - despite seemingly impossible odds. In his Memoir, Simmons takes the reader through his genealogical research to learn more about himself, to when his Mom was assaulted at gunpoint, to walking on and making Auburn University's basketball team at 5'7", 147 pounds, to the time he closed a $25 million sale in Hong Kong and more. In between, he masterfully ties together what his Mother taught him with how he turned those valuable lessons into successful stints in his various Corporate America Sales/Sales Management roles with Fortune 500 employers AT&T, GE, IBM, and MCI.

"If you love inspiration, heartfelt stories, and laughter, this book is right up your alley." Michael McCree (Author – "GameChanger: The Baseball Parent's Ultimate Guide")

#HTSP - How to Self-Publish

#HTSP – How to Self-Publish is a concise 79 page "how to" book which can be used as a resource or "primer" by first-time self publishers and others interested in self publishing. Simmons shares the methodology he used for "Not Far From The Tree," his successful self-published Memoir, and first book. In its first year, the manuscript ranked in the "Top 1%" in sales (of over 8,000,000 books sold worldwide on Amazon.com) a total of 25 times and was in the "Top 10%" 104 times!

"Thorough! That's the word I would use to describe #HTSP. Simmons left no stone unturned with this one. Pretty much any question a first-time self-publisher could ask seems to have been addressed by this book.
- Michael McCree, Amazon "Best Selling" self-published Author.
