Exhortation to Holiness
1 Peter 1:13 because of this strengthens your understanding; Be completely sober, and put your hope in the joy that will come to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Colonnese 3 and 4 and when the Christ, who is our life, appears, then you too will be revealed with him in his glory.
1 Peter 1; 14 as obedient children, do not participate in the low passions that you previously had, which you desired in your ignorance
1 Peter 1, 15 but as he who called you is Holy, be holy in all your way of life.
2 Corinthians 7: 1 Therefore, my beloved, because we have such promises, let us cleanse from all filthiness of the flesh and Spirit, leading ourselves in holiness, in reverence to God.
1 Thessalonians 4; 7 why God did not call them to filth but Holiness
1 John 3; 3 and everyone who has hope in him will purify himself, just as he is pure.
1 Peter 1; 16 why is it written; be holy as I am also holy
Leviticus 11; 44 because I am YHWH your God. Therefore, consecrate yourselves and be holy because I am Holy. Consequently, they will not contaminate by any animal that crawls on the earth.
Leviticus 11: 45 because I am YHWH your God. That I brought them up out of the land of Egypt to be their God. They will be holy because I am Holy.
Leviticus 19: 2, they will not swear falsely by my name, for they would profane the name of their God. I am YHWH.
Leviticus 20: 7 Sanctify therefore and be holy, for I am YHWH your God.
Hebrews 12; 14 runs after peace with all, and after holiness because without it, no one will see our Lord
1 Peter 1:17 and if you invoke as Father the one in whose presence there is no respect of persons and who judges everyone according to their works, lead reverently during this time of your pilgrimage.
Deuteronomy 10, 17 because YHWH your God is the God of gods and the Lord of Lords, a great, powerful and fearsome God, who does not make exceptions for persons or accept bribes.
Acts 10, 34 then Simon (Peter), opening his mouth, said; I truly understand that God does not make exceptions for people.
Ephesians 6; 9 You too, masters, do the same with your servants, forgiving them their faults, since your master is also in heaven, and there is no partiality for him.
Ephesians 2:19, therefore, you are no longer foreigners or upstarts, but fellow citizens of the saints and members of the family of God.
1 Peter 2, 11 my beloved, I beg you, as strangers that you are, to turn away from all carnal passions that fight against the soul.
