Editorial Reviews

APR/MAY 07 - AudioFile

A bestselling evangelical Christian novelist engages in an analysis of current events, mostly in the Middle East, through the "third lens of scripture." While viewing the region’s politics, he includes elements from various scriptural texts to conclude that the "last days" are closer than we think. As a writer, Rosenberg is lucid and provocative. As a reader, he lacks the gravitas that is needed for a book such as this. Like many author/readers, he is the wrong person for the job. His narration is well paced, but his high-pitched voice injects an inappropriate tone of naïveté. His sincerity is not enough. D.R.W. © AudioFile 2007, Portland, Maine
