About the Author

Brigadier VP Malhotra (retd) is an alumini of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, Higher Command Course, Mhow and an MSc in Defence Studies from Madras University. Has held coveted command and staff assignments at all levels. His last assignment was of Deputy Director General at Defence Planning Staff which was the only tri service organization, a think tank advising the Chiefs of Staff and the Ministry of Defence. Has authored books titled Defence Related Treaties of India and Tibetan Conundrum. He has also been a visiting lecturer, primarily speaking on India's Security Concerns.
