About the Author

Dr. K.S. Bharathi did his master's degree in Gandhi an Thought. Peace- Science, Economics, Political Science, and History. He also did Post graduate Diplomas in Population Dynamics, Tourism, Politics, Public Administration, Telugu, and Gandhian Thought. He has contributed some articles in learned journals in India and abroad. A prolific writer, he has authored a number of outstanding books including- Foundations Gandhian Thought; Gandhi and Humanity; Socio-Religious Thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi; The Philosophy of Saruodaya; The Satyagraha of Mahatma Gandhi; Gandhi and Nehru; Foundations of Ambedkar Thought; The Social Philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi; The Political Thought of 'M.N. Roy; Mahatma Gandhi - Man of the Millennium, and A Hand Book of Gandhian Thought. At present, he is the Head of the Postgraduate Department of Gandhian Thought of Nagpur University. He is the Chairman of the Board of Studies of Gandhian Thought, Member of the Faculty Social Sciences, Member of Board of University and Teaching and Research, Member of the Doctoral Research Committee, Member of Finance Committee, and Member of the Academic Council of Nagpur University. He is the recipient of several national and international awards.
