About the Author

Candace Reuter-Acord's debut children's book, Emy's World: Stay Close Emy, earned strong Amazon reviews for creativity and originality. Candace has gone on to write her second installment of the Emy's World series, Farm Days, which launched in mid-2022. An Arizona State University Alumni, Candace used her talents from her BA in Film to focus on a Journal that would help young actors channel their inner character. She launched The Moment Before Journal in late 2021.

In her other life, Candace works on writing award-winning short scripts, with her latest story earning Best Student Film for Best Script Festival - London. Candace and her family reside in Texas, where she enjoys discovering her latest characters to share with the world.
