The question should never be, "Does God speak to us?"
It should eternally be, "Are we listening?"
Samantha Jones heard God speaking. God even sent people close to her to speak on His behalf. She heard, but she never listened; never once took heed. Now Samantha finds herself in the biggest tragedy of her life. She is forced into the harsh reality that God is indeed a jealous God and will have no other gods before Him.
Joshua Jones has it all. Everything he could ever want out of life: An exciting career, wealth, a personal valet, a darling younger sister who worships the ground he walks on and a beautiful woman at his side. With all that he has accomplished, his has been an empty heart for thirty years.
The parents that led and guided him as a young child are no longer there to see the fruits of their labor. Thirty years without the love and undying affection of those that nurtured and loved him most. Again, God is always speaking, but is Joshua listening?
When God poses the scripture "The truth shall set you free," Joshua must rise to the challenge, seeking out this truth wherever that may lead him.
Lisa Jones, the younger sister is shrewd and savvy yet has the biggest of hearts. Three years younger, she does not have the memories that her older brother has. The only person she has known is still with her, loving her, guiding and directing her life and career. Hers is not an empty heart. For all she knows, it is her brother and best friend, Joshua. Yet again, God is always speaking, but who will listen? Her mother, Samantha?
If Samantha can learn to trust Him. If Joshua can at least sit still long enough to hear. If Lisa will but learn all that her brother has become is a result of their parent's loving, yet time-limited teachings, the truth, God's truth shall set them free; set them all free...
