Empower the People: Overthrow The Conspiracy That Is Stealing Your Money And Freedom
In the follow-up to his very successful Black Lies, White Lies, controversial talk-show host and radio commentator Tony Brown presents a practical plan to reclaim our resources and institutions from a selfish and exclusive power elite.

At the start of the twentieth century, argues Tony Brown, the world's economy was hijacked. In capitalist and communist countries alike, elitist groups took control of international trade and national banks, with dire results for the ordinary citizen. Ever since, capital has moved toward a single inner circle — the Ruling Class Conspiracy — who monopolize the world's markets and even its governments for personal profit. Their stratagems range from the "war" against drugs to deliberately induced racial conflict among ethnic groups in America — none in earnest, all carefully designed to preserve a pernicious status quo.

But Tony Brown has a remedy. His provocative and empowering seven-step plan offers an opportunity to break free once and for all from the constricting control of the wealthy and powerful who have run the world for far too long — including a point-by-point program for radical reform of the income tax and a proposal to muzzle the Federal Reserve Bank, which exerts unconscionable influence over the lives of every American.

Incendiary and persuasive, this book reaches beyond race to claim the high ground of historical, logical, and moral analysis. For nearly half a century of Cold War, America and the Free World were defined by opposition to Communism...but was this merely a red herring to ensure the domination of the haves over the have-nots? Read Empower the People, form your own conclusions...and hit the brakes!

Empower the PeopleChapter OneThe Lost Spiritof Americanism

We did produce a near perfect Republic. Will they keep itor will they in the enjoyment of it lose the memory offreedom? Material abundance without character is the surestway to destruction.— Thomas Jefferson

Although Freemason philosopher Manly Hall sought power through the "seething energies of Lucifer,"' rather than from the force of God, he demonstrated excellent powers of observation when he identified the moral imperatives of an idealized Americanism at the heart of the American idea:

"This nation is dedicated to the fulfillment of the Divine Will. To the degree that men realize this and dedicate themselves and their works to this purpose, their land will flourish. To depart from the symbol of this high destiny is to be false to the great trust given as a priceless inheritance."'

The Shining City On The Hill

The founding fathers were explicit about America's humamistic goals in the Declaration of Independence — which mentions the Creator four times. Paradoxically, slavery is a contradiction in a Christian society and the ownership of slaves by its patriotic and virtuous patriarch, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson — the alleged author of the Declaration of Independence (Benjamin Franklin is the likely author) — is a gross distortion of the moral code inherent in Americanism's stated virtues — then and in the present day. Indeed, the ideals of Americanism are not moral period pieces, and owning slaves in 1660 was not the norm, especially among men who trafficked in the higher meaning of life.

The men who shaped the vision of thisnation included John Adams, George Washington, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, Ethan Allen, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, and the other patriots who fought for and won independence. Among those patriots were the owners of human property, specifically Washington and Jefferson, who were morally compromised by their personal involvement in the peculiar institution and America's greatest paradox, the enslavement of African people.

On the one hand, Washington and Jefferson authored the modern concept of freedom and of human rights. They created and brilliantly articulated the humanistic virtues of Americanism, which were the essence of those rights. On the other hand, as slaveholders, they demonstrated the ability to isolate these precepts from the whippings, the murders, the denial of freedom, and, in the case of Illuminati Freemason Jefferson, allegedly the enslavement of his own children, born to his wife's half sister. Washington did express a form of contrition as a "lukewarm abolitionist," although he never publicly denounced slavery.

Judging from their lifestyles, Washington and Jefferson never internalized their own bedrock sentiment that "all men are created equal," which lies at the heart of the American idea. They were engulfed by two of the most hateful traits of their own British oppressors: elitism and greed. In Jefferson's case, it may be possible to add hypocrisy, lust, and racism. Ironically, America's inspired documents — the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence — express the necessity of defending a nation from just such human failure. The founders knew that even a democratic Republic could eventually become corrupted by money and power, exorcise God's authority, and lay claim to being the source of human rights. They therefore made it abundantly clear that our rights as human beings are granted by God and cannot be transferred constitutionally from one transient government to another or taken away altogether. It is the role of our freely elected government to protect and preserve human rights — God's gift to every living soul. That is the vision of the hymn "America the Beautiful" — a nation of freedom, dignity, and equality in the eyes of Godon which this country was built. It is only a vision, but as the Holy Bible teaches us, "without vision, the people perish." But as I look around me at America at the end of the twentieth century, all I see is an extinguished vision and a people that are perishing.A Broken Compact With God

God is not mocked. America's first leaders warned that no government that ignores or denies God can be truly American. It will be doomed to ignominious failure if it ever ceases to submit to His will. Well, it has. And I see the signs of failure everywhere. God has been routed from our democratically elected government. Instead of a liberating Divine guidance we are smothered by an evil, oppressive conspiracy. The people are lied to and robbed by the very institutions and leaders they depend on to protect them.

The founding fathers crafted our institutions to protect the nation from the kind of religious oppression that had existed in Europe. By separating church and state, they intended to exclude religious institutions from influencing the government but they never intended to exclude God from the operations of the state.

Over time, the political class has jettisoned God from the Republic. Or has tried to anyway. That is the main cause of our national demise and a power elite's ascension to absolute control of the country. In fact, in today's America, most people probably believe that their human rights originate with the government and not with God, because of the ruling class's self-serving manipulation of the mandate to separate the affairs of government from religious beliefs.

The degree to which we as a nation have lost sight of our Divine inspiration was made painfully clear when the United States government officially declared in the 1966 United Nations International Covenant on Human Rights that rights can be "determined" by law. This breach of our compact "under God" has had dangerous and far-reaching consequences. The extent to which the government can distance itself from God (not to be confused with religion) is the extent to which the government can avoid its obligation to preserve human rights and can control you and confiscate your wealth.
