Antti Ruokonen grew up in the Finnish countryside, midst the fields and forests of Southern Ostrobothnia. He lives in the western coast of Finland and works as a Civil Engineer for the City of Vaasa.
Mr. Ruokonen is a distinguished author of books on the Orders and Decorations of European nations, such as Yesterday and Today's Knights - Orders of Romania, Knights of Orange - Orders of the Netherlands and For Prince and Country - Awards and Medals of Liechtenstein. Empire Under the Swans - Dusk is his first novel.
Besides history and fantasy literature, he enjoys long walks, traveling, gaming and listening to music.
