About the Author

Jennifer Gaillard was born and raised in Queens, New York on January 11, 1982. She graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts and has a Masters in Public Health at Capella University with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Jennifer made the President’s List at Capella University in 2012. She has been writing poetry since she was a freshman in high school and her work was featured and entered in a contest for The National Library of Poetry in 1996. Her first poem, “Life” did not win the contest but being the motivated and driven woman that she is she continues to write for her own interest and hopefully others can benefit and relate to the world through her eyes. She has an extensive background in healthcare with 5 years of experience and administrative skills in various other industries. Her professional work ethic has been a great asset to the former and current company for which she works for. She enjoys exercising, viewing films and outdoor activities in her spare time.
