About the Author

Pamela Carey obtained a B.A. from Colby College and an M.A. from Columbia University Teachers College. She taught high school English in three states before studying at Rhode Island School of Design and opening her own interior design firm. In 2009 Barking Cat Books published Minor League Mom: A Mother�s Journey through the Red Sox Farm Teams, Pam�s story during her two sons� years playing professional baseball, without ever reaching the major leagues. She and her husband reside in Delray Beach, Florida, and Westport, Massachusetts. When not writing, Pam can be found playing for a tennis team.
