About the Author

In 2007 Judith suddenly became a caregiver for her elderly mother who had had a stroke and was no longer able to live by herself.

Judith, who had always worked as a sales executive, was suddenly thrown into a position which she had no knowledge or experience. Judith soon recognized that she would have to quit her job and become a full-time caregiver. The learning curve was fast; financial and medical details needed to have top priority. Caregiving was a 24/7 job.

This book was written for novice caregivers to help guide them through the maze of documents and circumstances they are likely to encounter in the first few months.
