Overview

EL "Che" and don ROBERTO

This fictional book was successfully launched in Spanish by the author Guido Ardaya Busch at the International Book Fair in Santa Cruz, Bolivia in July, 2013. The English version of his book has been edited and expanded to describe a fictional love story against two unprecedented historical events caused by the U.S. to neutralize Communist Cuba guerrilla action in the Republic of Bolivia and Nicaragua in Latin America -- Cuba´s diversionary tactic to weaken U.S. power in the world by attempting to create another Vietnam in South America, and illegal action to bypass the "Boland Amendment" approved by the U.S. Congress which forbade U.S. support of the CONTRAS engaged in guerrilla warfare against the Sandino Socialist forces in Nicaragua. Guido Ardaya Busch manages to describe his story of love between an undercover CIA agent, Major Mark Preston, in the tropics of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and Dr. Amalia Suarez, a beautiful Bolivian medic, the niece of the "King of the Cocaine Cartel" in Bolivia, Don Roberto Suarez. The U.S. detailed Major Preston, along with the CIA and the U.S. Rangers, to neutralize Cuba´s guerrilla invasion of Bolivia by the legendary Che Guevara and his ELN forces at Ñancahuazú. The action that led to the capture and death of the "Symbol of Cuba´s Revolution", Che Guevara is extraordinarily integrated with the passages of romance between the fictional Major Mark Preston and Dr. Amalia Suarez. Infatuated by the love of Amalia and the people of Bolivia, Major Mark Preston made a decision to remain in the country. He manages to obtain, and be detailed to work with the U.S. DEA to infiltrate the cocaine business cartel in Bolivia. Through intelligent, strategic action, he manages to infiltrate the core of the cocaine business operations supported by a corrupt network of Bolivia´s government, the U.S. Security Council, and the cocaine cartel. He uncovered and managed to expose a vast conspiracy network designed to increase production, add value, ship, and market large quantities of cocaine in the U.S., laundering the funds to buy guns from Israel and trade them for prisoners held by Iran, and to support guerrilla action by the CONTRAS in Nicaragua--the "Iran CONTRA Affair," which resulted in the indictment and imprisonment of U.S. Lt. Colonel Oliver North, the capture of Klaus "Barbie" Altman -- the "Butcher of Lyon", the "King of Bolivia´s Cocaine Cartel" Don Roberto Suarez, and the eventual eradication and imprisonment of "Bolivia´s Narco-State". Like a house of cards blown by the wind, the U.S. managed to undermine and practically destroy Cuba´s Socialism in Latin America. However, by default or by design, U.S. inaction and inattention in the last few years have resulted in the loss of its hegemony in the continent. A Socialist coalition with strong anti-American sentiment has surged. A more resistant house of cards has been built and threatens to undermine U.S. best interests in Latin America in the years to come. Major Mark Preston and Dr. Amalia Suarez's love thrived against an attempt on their lives and Bolivia´s Socialistic Government action to erode the product of their work
