About the Author

James O'Hanlon served for 21 years as dean of Teachers College at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, retiring in 2003. He has leadership experience in schools, athletics, government, business, and the military. Donald O. Clifton served as chairman of The Gallup Organization and as chairman of the Gallup International Research and Education Center.
