About the Author

Serra Kirdar is a Life Fellow of St Antony's College, University of Oxford, UK and a member of the board of the Middle East Centre at the St Antony's College, University of Oxford, UK. Previously, she was a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Middle East Studies at Harvard University, USA.
Colin Brock was Honorary Professor of Education at the University of Durham, UK, and Visiting Professor of Geography at the University of Loughborough, UK. He was also UNESCO Chair of Education as a Humanitarian Response at the University of Oxford, UK.
