Overview

During the global pandemic, visionary entrepreneur Dax Dasilva recognized that while businesses were in turmoil, environmental conservation also was in crisis.

In this book, Dasilva provides a riveting account of his journeys to the most threatened natural environments in the world, giving readers deeper insight into the critical need for immediate action to combat climate change and protect endangered species.

The book aims to ignite a passion for environmental stewardship and a recognition of the interconnectedness between human actions and the health of our planet.

From the embattled forests of Clayoquat Sound to the helm of a global tech empire, Dax Dasilva has always harbored a heart fiercely attuned to nature’s calls. In Echoes from Eden, he chronicles the transformative juncture of his life during a global pandemic—a time when the natural world faced unprecedented threats due to halted conservation efforts.

With businesses reeling and environmental protectors in dire straits, Dasilva faced a monumental choice: continue at the forefront of technology as CEO of Lightspeed or heed the call of his lifelong activism. His decision? A profound pivot to conservation, seeding the Age of Union Alliance with a $40 million commitment.

Dasilva’s journey takes readers to the world’s vanishing frontiers, where he joins forces with legendary conservationists like Dr. Jane Goodall in the Amazon, Dr. Russ Mittermeier in Madagascar, and Dr. Kerry Bowman in the Congo. Each page of Echoes from Eden is a testament to the tenacity of those battling to safeguard our planet’s precious biodiversity.

But this is more than a memoir—it is a mobilization. Dasilva’s narrative, rich with the spirit of adventure and selfless dedication, is a rallying cry for environmental stewardship and a beacon of hope for the eco-conscious future. Echoes from Eden is not just a story of one man’s commitment; it’s an invitation to join a movement essential to our survival—a journey as inspiring as it is critical for our time.
