Overview

In our Global Meandering lifestyle, we spent 2 1/2 months in Beijing in the late summer/fall of 2010. We were amazed with the variety of cuisines, with so many unusual and delicious dishes, with the many types of restaurants and their huge range of prices.

In this book, we compiled photos of the more interesting dishes we tasted and some of the venues themselves. We then give detailed reviews of the restaurants and eateries we visited.

About the Author

We like to call ourselves Global Meanderers. We have been traveling the world since 1995 when we retired from careers as software developer (Dimitri at 54 years old) and as corporate lawyer and banking consultant (Audre at 49 years young). We like to spend winters in ski resorts. Summers are varied and usually include hiking, bicycling, kayaking, swimming, and whatever else. And, of course, whatever the season we love eating well.
