About the Author

Laura holds a master's degree in education and taught High School Health Science classes. She also trained with and certified with the American College of Sports Medicine as a Group X instructor and a Wellness Coach, and with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer.

She has worked in the Fitness profession as an exercise physiologist at Marshall Hale Sports and Orthopedic Center in San Francisco, and as a coach to athletes, and body builders.

Laura has worked as a personal trainer, exercise director, group exercise instructor, weight loss coach, club manager, Ch 42 TV network instructor and health and fitness educator. She advised personal training information for the SF Magazine and other Bay Area local newspapers.

Laura worked with the SF State University football team as their group fitness trainer, taught for and guest taught at many sports clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as the Four Seasons Hotel on Mauii. As an AVIA Rep, Laura also promoted her fitness venues with many San Francisco conventions, and guest spoke on many occasions for various Corporate groups, and events.

She has an undying spirit to motivate all who know her to be well in mind, body, and spirit with her unique programs. She strives with passion to instill within all who are willing to be honest with themselves, the many true, sound ways for them to soar to levels of wellness beyond their wildest dreams! Her background includes Silver and Gold medal winnings from her competitive sports, gymnastics, and the National Aerobics Championships.
