Helen Painter was born in Melbourne, Australia . She graduated from LaTrobe University in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Occupational Therapy. She has lived in and worked as an occupational therapist in three countries; Australia, Canada and the United States. In the United States she has lived and worked in five states, and has supported dozens of school districts helping children with dysgraphia. Helen graduated from California State University Sacramento in 2004 with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
