Overview

This is a memoir of events that have happened in my life and have haunted me to this day. My father was a legitimate gangster, my mother lacked all intuition to love and protect her children, and I was surrounded by absolute violence, domestic abuse on all levels, addiction, jail, molestation, and ultimately rape.
While so many people go to the movies to watch stories, much like my real-life story, unfold for entertainment purposes, I didn't find it entertaining at all.
This is the first of a four book series that will take through my journey of depression, anxiety, sexual assault, toxic relationships, PTSD, and so much more. It is hard to read, but more often than not, the truth is. It is my hope that the characters of my life resonate with readers who need to know that there is hope, they don't have to be products of their environments, and that there is always a choice.
Follow me through the pages of my life and be inspired to rectify your own situation, break free from the ties that bind you, and find your true self. After all, if you don't like the story life has handed you, you can always write a new one...I did.

About the Author

I am just an ordinary girl who has lived an extraordinary life and not by choice. My father was a legit gangster, my mother lacked all of the natural motherly instincts to love and protect. I was surrounded by absolute violence, drugs, addiction, domestic abuse on all levels, molestation, and ultimately rape.
I suffered from depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies my entire life until I realized I was actually suffering from PTSD. I now have committed my life to sharing my story in hopes of reaching others like my me and offering them a way out. I want my readers to know they don’t have to be victims of their circumstances or products of their environment, but rather a beacon of light through the darkness.
