"Rapper and actor Ice Cube's directorial debut, The Players Club comes to DVD with both a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and an inferior standard full-frame transfer. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include the original theatrical trailer, biographies of the cast and crew, and a pair of music videos, ""We Be Clubbin"" and ""My Loved Ones."" New Line has done a very good job with this release that will surely please fans of Cube, and may find the film a broader audience than saw it in the theater."
