"Lucky McKee's May was a little-seen horror film that was greatly admired by genre enthusiasts. The film comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of the film. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by McKee and members of the cast. They have a very good time sharing their experiences of making the movie, and teasing leading actor Jeremy Sisto (who is not there with them). The director and some of the production crew have recorded a second commentary. They provide more filmmaking insights than the actors, but are occasionally less entertaining. The internet trailer for the film rounds out this solid release from Lion's Gate that should help the film find a wider audience than it did in theaters."
